Noah De Lissovoy is Assistant Professor of Curriculum Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of Power, Crisis, and Education for Liberation: Rethinking Critical Pedagogy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008). His articles on liberatory pedagogy and praxis have appeared in many journals and edited collections. He was a teacher for a several years in Los Angeles, as well as a union representative and activist.
