Bio

Dasha Shalimo, M.Ed., is a Professor of Early Childhood Education, Sheridan Tech., Oakville, ON, where she teaches classes in history, philosophy, and curriculum in early childhood education. Her academic interests are in critical pedagogy, philosophy in education, curriculum studies, ideological spread through the use of language, and comparative politics in education. She is involved in community activities advocating for a profession of early childhood educator and rights of children.
