Bio

Clar Doyle is a professor of education at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. His academic interests are in critical pedagogy, curriculum studies, cultural production and drama. He is the author of Raising Curtains on Education, and co-author of Reading and Teaching Henry Giroux. His community activities centre on the writing and production of theatre that probes social and personal situations which shape and limit human conditions.
